PAPILLONS IN OUR HOME

We have had numerous Champion Papillons in our home over the years. The dogs listed here are our current residents. Dogs no longer used in our breeding program are spayed or neutered and sometimes placed in retirement homes where they can be loved family pets and the center of attention.

Ch. Kinduhaven's Coco Chanel, StJA Therapy Dog

Ch. Breezwae Black Tie at Rosvaire ex Kinduhaven's Special Companion

Chanel was our first homebred Papillon Best Puppy in Show winner, finishing her Championship at the age of 8 months with multiple Group & Puppy in Group Placements. Chanel is a self taught Service Dog, picking up items I've dropped on the floor, retrieving objects for me or performing her special tricks. She loves new challenges and learns very quickly even for a Papillon. Chanel is one of the most intelligent dogs I have ever owned. She produced two litters of puppies, the last being in October, 2002 and several of her grand children and great-grandchildren currently live with us. Chanel is now retired from the show ring and whelping box and she now enjoys visiting seniors in a local retirement home. She often going along with me when I make presentations to the general public on the St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog Program or the Kings County SPCA and charms everyone she meets.

Ch. Kinduhaven's One N'Only Jazzman ex Kinduhaven's Special Companion

Christie finished her Championship while still a puppy, winning a Best Puppy in Group award along the way. She has since won several Group placements in the show ring as well. Retired from the show ring she is now a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog and loves to visit the residents in a local nursing home. Christie has produced 4 litters, the last in September 2007. Her grandson, Ch. Maximilian Merry Times (Troy) resides with us at Kinduhaven and is pictured below.

Ch. Kinduhaven's One'N Only Jazzman ex Ch. Kinduhaven's Chatterbox

Charm completed her Championship title at 8 months of age. Before she turned 1 year of age she accumulated several Best Puppy in Group and numerous Group placement awards, including a Group 2 and Puppy in Group under a respected Papilllon breeder judge. She completed her CFC (Canine Federation of Canada) Championship title in May, 2008 and ompleted her Elite CFC title in 3 straight shows in October, 2009. Charm is the 4th generation of Kinduhaven breeding on her dam's side. She completed her Rally Novice title in July, 2008 Charm whelped a litter of beautiful puppies (3 boys) on May 2, 2009. One of these boys, K's Lucky Charm resides at Kinduhaven (see below). Charm added another title to her name on June 20/10. She completed her Canine Good Neighbour Test.

Ollie came to us from Pat Groff (Maximilian Papillons) in the fall of 2006 at the ripe old age of 12 years. He has numerous offspring who have attained their Championships in the USA and Canada. Ollie won the Veteran Sweepstakes at the Papillon Canada National Specialty in 2004. His last litter was born in April,2007. Two of those offspring reside with us at Kinduhaven. Ollie turned a very healthy 16 years of age in February 2010. He is a true pleasure to have in our home. Ollie is pictured here when in his prime.

CH. KINDUHAVEN'S LUCKY CHARM

Lucky has inherited his Mom & Dad's smarts, showing an early pre-disposition to Obedience work. He finished his Canadian Championship title at the Dartmouth Kennel Club shows in May/10, earning his first Group placement while still a puppy. Lucky is pictured at 7 months of age. We are very pleased with this striking boy and expect great things from him as a stud dog in the future..

KINDUHAVEN'S ALL ABOUT VANA

Vana is pictured at 4 1/2 months of age, during her ugly duckling stage, all ears and legs and no hair. She is a bundle of energy, getting into everything and afraid of nothing. We look forward to seeing how she will turn out and are excited to get her into the show ring when she's ready.

In Sept 2009 Trinket returned from 2 years in the USA with her co-owner Pat Groff (Maximilian Papillons) where she earned her first Major at US shows. She completed her CFC Championship title in 3 straight shows in October, 2009 and finished Cdn Championship at the Cobequid Dog Club shows in March 2010. Trinket will return to Florida in the fall of 2010 to finish her American Title with Pat.

Troy came to us in the summer of 2005 from his co-owner, Pat Groff of Maximilian Papillons. A Christie grandson, he completed his Championship in August, 2006 with multiple group placements from the Open Dog Class, including a Group 1st. Troy has produced some nice puppies for us, including Ch. Kinduhaven's Lucky Charm.

Treasure has the look of a typical Kinduhaven Papillon and the outgoing personality to match. She completed her Championship requirements with a 4 pt major (WB/BOS) under Internation Judge Paul Stanton (Sweden) and another 5 pt major (WB) under respected judge Norman Patton (USA) in September, 2009. She is truly a treasure and we have great expectations for this typey little girl.

In July, 2010 Treasure went to live with her new co-owner, Amy Benson, of Devana Papillons. We are delighted to be in partnership with Amy and hope that Treasure will prove to be the start of a wonderful and long collaboration.
