PAPILLONS IN OUR HOME

We have had numerous Champion Papillons in our home over the years. The dogs listed here are our current residents. Dogs no longer used in our breeding program are spayed or neutered and sometimes placed in retirement homes where they can be loved family pets and the center of attention. As we are now senior citizens we are starting to wind down our breeding program. We will continue to breed the occasional litter but will also be working with a select number of breeders on a co-ownership basis in order to continue our bloodline.

Chanel was our first homebred Papillon Best Puppy in Show winner, finishing her Championship at the age of 8 months with multiple Group & Puppy in Group Placements. Chanel is a self taught Service Dog, picking up items I've dropped on the floor, retrieving objects for me or performing her special tricks. She loves new challenges and learns very quickly even for a Papillon. Chanel is one of the most intelligent dogs I have ever owned. She produced two litters of puppies, the last being in October, 2002 and several of her grand children and great-grandchildren currently live with us. Chanel is now retired from the show ring and whelping box and enjoys visiting seniors in a local retirement home. Chanel will turn 13 years of age on October 19/11.

Christie finished her Championship while still a puppy, winning a Best Puppy in Group award along the way. She has since won several Group placements in the show ring as well. Retired from the show ring she is now a St. John Ambulance Therapy Dog and loves to visit the residents in a local nursing home. Christie has produced 4 litters, the last in September 2007. Her grandson, Ch. Maximilian Merry Times, RN (Troy) and great grandson (Cdn & CFC Ch Kinduhaven's Lucky Charm) reside with us at Kinduhaven.

Charm completed her Championship title at 8 months of age. Before she turned 1 year of age she had accumulated several Best Puppy in Group and numerous Group placement awards, including a Group 2 and Puppy in Group under a respected Papilllon breeder judge. She completed her CFC (Canine Federation of Canada) Championship title in May, 2008 and her Elite CFC title in October, 2009. Charm is the 4th generation of Kinduhaven breeding on her dam's side and 3rd generation on her sire's side. She completed her Rally Novice title in July, 2008. Charm whelped a litter of beautiful puppies (3 boys) on May 2, 2009. One of these boys, K's Lucky Charm resides at Kinduhaven as our current resident stud dog. Charm added another title to her name on June 20/10 by completing her Canine Good Neighbour Test.

Lucky has inherited his Mom & Dad's smarts, showing an early pre-disposition to Obedience work. He finished his Canadian Championship title at the Dartmouth Kennel Club shows in May/10, earning his first Group placement while still a puppy. We are very pleased with this striking boy. He sired his first litter in July, 2010. Lucky completed his CFC Championship title in October 2010 and his Elite CFC title in 4 straight shows in May, 2011.

Ty came to us from his co-breeder, Amy Benson (Devana Papillons). He is pictured at 4 months of age being watched over by his best friend Wizard. Tye entered his first conformation show for points in October 2011 at the age of 6 months and 3 days. On the second day he captured a 2 point major to start off his show career.

Troy came to us in the summer of 2005 from his co-owner, Pat Groff of Maximilian Papillons. A Christie grandson, he completed his Championship in August, 2006 with multiple group placements from the Open Dog Class, including a Group 1st. Troy has produced some nice puppies for us, including Ch & CFC Ch. Kinduhaven's Lucky Charm. Troy is now retired from our breeding program.
